The design of Balblair has been inspired by the history of the ancient people who inhabited the great Plain of Eadar Dun and who erected the Clach Biorach.

The Balblair bottle itself is shaped to resemble a stone lifted from the bed of a burn and polished by the flow of water over its surface for thousands of years. Designed to fit in the curve of your hand, the bottle's glass surface is embossed with the word Balblair, spelt out in Pictish Swirl Script – a beautiful and abstract shape flowing like the water from the Allt Dearg burn.
